What is a Pinch-Hitter?
In gift exchanges, each participant is due a fanwork from another participant. A pinch-hit is a fanwork produced for a request that's in need of fulfillment either because there were no offers that matched to it or because the participant assigned the request defaulted. Moderators will call for pinch-hitters to ensure that every participant receives something.
Minimum Contributor Requirements
✦ Writers = 5k minimum word count. Must be completed by posting period.
✦ Artists = One complete illustration (full color and background) per selected summary by posting period.
✦ Betas = Discuss edits with assigned team. Finalize edits by posting period.

What is a Big Bang?
A Big Bang (or "Bang" for short) is a specific type of challenge usually involving long fics and accompanying artwork. Writers sign up to take part in the challenge and begin writing stories. When the early drafts of the stories are available, each one is assigned one or more artists, or artists might claim stories from posted summaries. Artists create fanart to go along with the story. The term derives from baseball: a pinch hitter is a player who replaces another player during the game, comparable to the substitute players in football/soccer.
Some mods call for pinch-hitters to volunteer at the beginning of a challenge so that they have a group to send pinch-hit requests to at the time-crunch end of the challenge, when most dropouts occur. (Source: Fanlore)

Hello there. My name’s Hayden and I use they/them pronouns. After I watched Sarazanmai, the trio and ReoMabu took my heart and ran off with it, while my brain is being consumed by all kinds of fandoms all hours of the day. Now I’m trying to restore what remains of my sanity by writing anything from drabbles to multi-chapter fanfiction that I secretly wish would finish itself.
No matter what I do to my faves in writing though, I promise I’m quite nice in real life and I’m very much looking forward to working with all of you.
